Appointment to F2 Programmes
There is useful information for applicants to the Wales Foundation School which is available here. Applicants are matched to a one year programme, with applications for their F2 post at 4 months into the F1 year.
During F2 applications trainees are free to apply for F2 posts at any hospital in Wales.

Linked Applications
Every foundation school honours linked applications so that linked applicants are allocated to the same foundation school. Others will honour them further, ensuring applicants are allocated programmes within a certain distance of each other. Wales Foundation School will not honour linked applications for Health Board or programme allocation.

Providing eligibility criteria are met, LTFT training may be undertaken. Slot-sharing is the preferred format. More information can be found here.
Wales Foundation School does not support training abroad. However, it is possible to take time out of training.
