The Application Process

Appointment to F2 Programmes

This year NYEC will be allocating successful applicants to two-year programmes, therefore there will be no need for a separate matching process in F1 and trainees will know their location for both years.
Linked Applications

Every foundation school honours linked applications so that linked applicants are allocated to the same foundation school.  Others (often the larger schools) will honour them further, ensuring applicants are allocated programmes within a certain distance of each other. NYEC consider linked applications when allocating to geographical area; the policy is given here.
